I had an oppurtunity to trekk to the Pindari Glacier situated at an hieght of approx 4300 mtrs. We went in June and had a remarkable experience.
The best time to go there is during Mar-May, because rest of the year there is snow all over and you simply cannot go there.
So all those trekking enthu’s, this is a trek to go for... you will have a memory of lifetime.... trust me.
And more importanlty it wont cost much... the whole trekk can be easily completed within 10-12 days.... with cost around 2000 Rs only.
The trekk is 45 km long (one way), with breakpoints available at every 10-15 kms.
So pack your bags.... and get set go!

Delhi -> Almora -> Baageshwar -> Song -> Trekk starts
Song is the base camp and is the biggest vilage on route.
