A good shampoo is as important for me as food and air. I maintain fairly lengthy hair for a guy, and therefore have to take much care about my choice of shampoo. I have been greatly disappointed by my first few shampoos, specially head and shoulders, for dandruff treatment. For some time I had been using pantene pro-v but I wanted to change it as soon as possible, then Garnier Fructis came to india and I grabbed one as soon as it was available,
reasons?
Garniers value as a good cosmetic company, and secondly the thing did look stylish.
Initial application
The results for the first few days of application were simply marvellous, and I was stupefied, about finally finding the right shampoo,
it has an amazing fruity smell, which makes you want to drink the shampoo.
A noticeable shine and consistency to hair which made them bouncy and with a free fall.
Continued application
The good work stopped when a few realisations struck after repeated usage.
you need to apply this shampoo 5 or 6 times a week if u want to maintain that kind of hair, which I feel just far too much. whereas pantene with no fruity smell required only 2 applications in a week. and thus it lasted too.
awful if you have dandruff. this shampoo just wont work if you have even a itsy bitsy dandruff, making the scratching and itching all the more worse, after which I am actually thinking of leaving this shampoo and reverting back to my old one.
it didnt cause any appreciable change in hair fall, though, just as normal, or I may say a bit less than my previous pantene.
So after all, my experience has been just satisfactory, nothing more, so I dont know whether to suggest this shampoo or not. But if you frequent out on a bike, have dandruff, and dont want to shampoo everyday, then this is just not right for you.
Now I have to go for this shampoo, just to finish off the bottle. ;)
