Definitely worth trying

I have dry, wavy to curly hair which is prone to frizz in medium to high humidity, and can be difficult to manage. So I tend to be very careful about the quality of shampoos/conditioners I use on my hair. I also experiment with different brands. I used the Garnier Fructis conditioner for dry/damaged hair as well as the 3 - minute intensive conditioner for dry hair. The green packaging is attractive and it has a lovely fruity fragrance which stays in your hair for a couple of days (I love the fruity fragrance of all Garnier products !). It does what it says. It softened my hair, made it silkier and easier to manage, and stronger as well; I had far less split-ends. However, I could not assess the conditioners to its full extent, because I used it in combination with Garnier Fructis anti-dandruff shampoo. The shampoo is the one disappointment I have found in the Garnier range, first it sensitised my scalp and made it very itchy, and then it started to make my hair as dry as coconut husk ! And there was absolutely no reduction in my dandruff. The conditioners luckily prevented further damage to my hair, and I discontinued using the products after 3 months, and switched to Dove shampoo/conditioner. The Garnier shampoo had put me off, but when I think back, I should definitely give the the conditioners another try. This time I’ll use it with the Garnier shampoo for dry hair, and see how it goes.
