Ever seen the late night television infomercials? An overenthusiastic guy reveals to an overt-attentive audience his brush with a rather obscure product which he believes has changed his life! The guy was constipated, always sad, short, overweight, diabetic and blaah blah. And then he discovered the solutions to all his troubles through the late night edition of television infomercials. He is now no longer constipated or suffers from anything else. He is simply dead. A moron by all means.
You know what! I am going to write this review in a moronic tone. Here I go!
Earlier, I was very sad. All my friends had long hair. Most of them were guys who had just come out of jail and had no money to afford a hair- cut. Even I wanted to grow my hair long. My girlfriend broke-up with me after she realized that I could not grow it beyond ’five inches’. I was really desperate to take it to at least ten. She laughed at me and made fun of me. Her friends used to mock at my five-inch size. I was so sad I stopped going out. I really wanted to grow my hair long. Really long.
I had spent three and a half days inside my room (going out only at night). I decided that on the fourth I will hang myself to death. So I called my maid to get me a rope. Kaanta ben got a rope. I asked her to tie the rope to the SEALING fan. She did it and asked me what was I going to do. On hearing my travail she laughed and laughed. She went out and came back in five minutes. She was carrying in her hand a green shampoo bottle. She handed it to me and asked for Rs 49 in return. Now 3 months after Kaanta ben gave me that rope and that shampoo I feel I am indebted to her. This shampoo is great. Its so good that I have grown my hair really lng and I now do not need any rope to hang myself. All I need is my overgrown hair.
Okay, now get serious. I was at the newly opened Subhiksha store looking for things I did not know existed or I even required. Browsing through stuff I came across a Garnier Fructic Fortifying Shampoo for Normal hair. I remembered seeing the product TVC (not the infomercial mentioned above). So I though wy not give this thing a try. Usually its my mom who buys the shampoo (head n shoulders). But this time I bought this shampoo. Thank god its unisex.
The advertisement and the colour of the bottle (green) compelled me to buy this product. Next day I used Garnier to shampoo my hair. Pretty cool experience. Though at that time I felt nothing out of the world. But later that week I realized that my hair had become bouncy and there was some shine too. Few days later I realized I needed a hair cut. Next month I went in for an early hair-cut. I think my new shampoo has something to do with this. Though I dont think the growth is abnormal I do see a change in my hair health.
I like Garnier. Though its a bit expensive. I got it at a promo offer (Rs 49). The atual cost is Rs 59.
