Yesterday I visited gateway of india with my sister. It was the first time that I had travelled so far in mumbai without parents.
We both reached safely to our destination. Beacuse of the pathankot attack and new year the security was very good there. only gate way of india was covered with male and female separate scanning. It was very impressive.
It was very crowded ofcourse, but I dint feel uncomfortable at all.
The monument is simply beautiful. It totally speaks of the British Era in india.
Entering india isn’t allowed but it wasn’t clean for inside. Like too much off bird waste, dry leaves in corners. Since its a tourist attraction we should keep such places very much clean. These places are the ones which create an image of us in the rest of the world.
