I had ordered Logitech z 443 speakers from Amazon.in .Amazon normally sends products through their own courier service ATS.To my surprise Amazon did the mistake of sending this product through worst courier service of India, GATI .The courier boy calls me up around 8:45 pm late evening that your package has arrived and now what should I do.I asked him to come tomorrow as now it is too late.I also inquired from him if this product has got damaged in transit.The courier boy in rude and arrogant tone tells me you got to pay me the amount & incase the product is damaged you can get it replaced from Amazon.I asked him if the outer package is intact.He tells me I cannot check all this and now anything can happen if I take this package back to my office and come back tomorrow, & that he shall not be held responsible, so I should better take it today.Was he trying to scare me. Is this the way a courier service company employee talk to a customer.
Finally I called Amazon and informed that I have returned back this product.To this, Amazon replies in the same manner that incase the product is damaged you can later return it back to us and we shall return back your money.What a joke!.These E-Commerce and courier people think that the customer has no other important stuffs to do in life, apart from doing online shopping and later return the damaged product and beg them for your own money.I suggest customers to be sure of the package if it comes especially from Gati couriers.
