I shipped 3 bags containing my dresses and books from TamilNadu(Vellore) to my home in Rajasthan(Lalsot). The bags were locked and sealed when I gave it to their office. I asked them the charges and paid the amount at their office.
At Vellore office, they told me that they will deliver it till my home. But after a week, I got a call that they can’t deliver the bags to my home and will charge extra. I need to go and pick up the stuff from their Jaipur office.
Even after I went there, I found the lock for one bag was missing. After enquiring with manager at Jaipur office, he told me that it happens in courier services. After checking the bag right there and found few of my shirts missing. I complaint to manager but he didn’t even care to listen. He told all courier services are like this and stuff goes missing during courier.
I have shipped stuff by various movers and packers before and it never happened. Gati has been the worst courier and cargo service I have ever tried.
