A Mixed opinion.

Having an interest in many things, I normally fill in a lot of online surveys. I am a member of several websites that send me surveys on my pre-chosen subjects. This means that I have to fill in a hell of a lot of forms that include my address etc.

This is where gator comes in. Basically you download the software and then fill in all of the information on the program you recieve. Theoretically, you then get a Gator pop up every time a form appears on your screen. This is the case around 90% of the time although sometimes it takes too long to appear. You get the feeling that you could have filled the whole form in long before the gator sign popped up.

This, at times makes me feel that it is a waste of time but if you have to fill in forms as much as I do then it reaaly is a great help. Another aspect, although I don’t use it is that you can put your credit card details on the database meaning you don’t have to fill your number in every time.

The next aspect of Gator is the password memory system. Basically every time you join a website and have to remember a password, Gator will remember it for you. This works the same way as the address system, every time you enter a site that you have joined Gator will popup and login the password for you. The same problem arises though, It takes too long at times to come into view so you could quite easily have typed it in for yourself.

My overall conclusion is that you should only use this program if you are like me, and need to fill in lots of forms.
