Gator is a smart online companion which helps you in filling up forms on a webpage. Those people who register at lot of sites and have a tough time remembering their passwords, Gator is the answer for them. Gator maintains an encrypted list of your username and passwords for all sites and automatically inputs your username and password when you visit the site next time, but in case if you forget your password someday then the Gator won’t assist you in rememebering your forgotten password.
If you are having trouble with your Internet Explorer 5.5 and you have an older version of Gator installed, then you should upgrade to Gator 1.5.2.5 (Refer to Microsoft Knowledge base, Article Id = Q253364).
Although another helpful feature could have been to back up the username and passwords list, Which might have been useful to restore in case you upgrade or reinstall. Currently It can only back up your personal information.
