When I reinstalled my computer, everyone seemed to have and love Gator. It came highly recommended by many friends, and since I could get points from Memolink for downloading, I decided to go for it! Now I wonder why everyone loves it, for me it seems to be more of a pain than a helper.
This program is a password program, that is supposed to pop up each time you need a password. Does it ever pop up before I have already given in and entered the password though? No! More often than not, I am either waiting on the program, or have already entered it, when it decided to help out.
It also wants to pop up with offer for free or discounted offers, which I do not like. I realize this is a free program, and that the company must make money somehow, but do they have to pop up quite so often? It seems to me they pop up just at the wrong times.
This can be a convenient program as it stores my address and information for forms, and when doing alot of freebies at once, it comes in handy. BUT do not try to rely on it, just when you think you can use it over and over, it will decide not to pop up for you and you will be typing away trying to get done quickly.
This program, while free is still very painful for me, I type faster than it pops up, so I will use my finger power and brain power on passwords, rather than Eater sorry GATOR
