This place is traditionally chic and oozes with history. Decorated tastefully, gets quite crowded often.
It is at the heart of south mumbai and probably epitomize everything that south mumbai is- steeped is tradition, class and sophistication.
We celebrated our son’s birthday here.
The starters we had kabab platter, Rashmi kebab and fish fingers- all very tasty. The portion sizes were not very generous through.
We had chicken, mutton dishes for main courses along with butter nan. The taste was good through on the hotter side. The portions were not that generous.
We also the mixed meat sizzler. The portion was decent but it was loaded with ham and sausages, more variety and more unprocessed meat would have been nicer.
It is fine dinning so far the price was concerned. However, the presentation and everything else was like any other place.
For three of us, we spent about INR 7000.
Overall, an enjoyable meal there.
