INTRODUCTION: My Wedding reception and dinner, was held here on 28th June 2014. I had carefully decided each item in the menu, thinking about the guest. The items were special delicacies, keeping in mind the choice and standards of the guests that were invited. I wanted to ensure that, since my wedding is a once in a lifetime event, the guests enjoyed the quality food, unlike many receptions where they display a lot of unnecessary items and make a show off. So I decided many good items that would make guests happy. FRAUD BEGINS:
Meanwhile, a day before the reception, I got a call from GCC management, saying that they have offered us a "Complimentary Item", we could choose between Chinese or Italian.
I thought about it for a while, and realised the trick, the trick they choose was to offer " FILLER ITEMS like Pasta or noodles" so that they could save money, on the main course good stuff that we had chosen originally. So, I strictly told them NOT TO PROVIDE ANYTHING EXTRA, than what we had decided on the menu originally. These BUNCH OF CHEATS, deliberately included Chinese items WITHOUT our permission on the menu, and a lot of innocents guests had it in the starters and later realised that the main course was so wonderful, but couldn’t have it because they had filled themselves with this "Unordered Chinese" by mistake.
A lot of main course was wasted and we were charged for the same. Since the advance was already paid, we could not get any refund, since they had a upper hand. All the manager said was, that he was sorry and the item was added by mistake.
That’s it. GCC HOTEL AND CLUB RUINED MY WEDDING RECEPTION AND MY HARD EARNED MONEY.
Its been almost 2 years, and it still pinches me on how I was cheated and helpless. Now you decide, do you want to give them a chance.
