GE Money - the people who loot money

GE Money formerly GE Consumer finance is not a professional company for issuing loans

I had financed a New Bajaj Pulsar from GE Money. Everything was OK until 6 months. Reality came

into picture when I had to replace my previous bank cheques.

I went to their Delhi office for this. They asked me to pay Rs. 500 for this service.

I didn’t understand what are these charges for when we are giving new cheques of the new bank. They were not bothered for anything.Well, I had to pay them Rs. 500/-cash on the spot. They acknowledged the receipt.

This was on some where 20th in the month of September 2005.

Few days after when the payment date for EMI on 5th of October came I was surprised to observe when they called me and said that your cheque had bounced

due to non-existence of account. I told them that we had already paid Rs.500 as service charge for replacing the cheques by the previous one and we had informed almost 2 weeks prior. They argued over it and said that you will be fined for Rs. 500 for cheque bounce. They did not listen to it and I went to their office. Their customer care centre in New Delhi at Jungpura is like a fish market. It gave a glimpse of any old aged govt. office, the officers sitting there were making people run here and there for signatures. We too had to face such situtation.Ultimately, we had to pay Rs.500 again, even when we had informed the company prior to

the next installment. So totally, I had to pay Rs. 1000 in the whole process of informing the Company well advance just to replace my Bank Cheques because of change in my salary account from HDFC to Citibank. I have all the proofs for above statements.

I would certainly not recommend hire GE Money to anyone for loan purpose.
