Gehraiyaan, a movie so good that not many had understood it. Simpler words for it is that this movie is well made, casted and executed so perfectly but is ahead of its time. Watching this movie was a great experience though.
This movie is something we don’t get to see easily/everyday. The cinematography is just as we Indians demand to see like the international ones. The casting, direction and screenplay was very well done. The characters played by theactors do justice to their roles. No doubt Naseeruddin Shah even with such a short on-screen time made an impact.
The movie carries a lot of messages.
(i) Letting go off past. The moment you let it go, it lets you go.
(ii) Sometimes we see things the way we want, but in reality its something else.
(iii) Life is what you get, not what you desire. It’s always unexpected.
Still a good movie. But not everyone liked it. After watching the movie I saw a lot of negative reviews all over the internet. Just not everyone has a very good taste about movies. Its just that its a bit different than the ordinary and in India people don’t like something that is different/extra-ordinary.
