Am from Belgaum-Karnataka to share the very good experience I had with GEM Hospital Coimbatore where my mother underwent Major Laproscopic surgery for Pancreas during Nov 22 nd 2016, which was a very complicated and the Chief surgeon of this hospital is Dr C. Palanivelu and their team have done tremendous effort in making the surgery successful in a very long 5 to 6 hours time as they have told initially that this was a case of multiple surgery in different stages after the preliminary tests. However, with their professional approach and experience they have successfully completed the surgery in single effort. In my opinion Dr. C. Palanivelu and Dr. Rajapandyan team of doctors are the best laparoscopic surgeon in Asia.
Surgery was too complicated for my mothers age at 72+, Hence we have all the way approached GEMs through one of our best friends and family doctor then rushed to Coimbatore. off course the cost of Surgery /medicine was much for our status but we do not have option at that given time, other Hospitals ask you to deposit amount before going for operation but here it is not there,
Infrastructure of the hospital is very good, room charges are reasonable and the nurses and supports staff behaviors is up to the level of satisfaction.
The Team of Doctors main or junior or Duty doctors are very co-operative and will explain all the details of patient conditions and will clear all our doubts if any very patiently.
As a whole if anyone wants to go there for surgery we can suggest GEM Hospital for laparoscopic surgeries without any doubt as the Chief Doctor and team are very professional and they work as a whole team of each cases whether it is normal or complicated!. Overall treatment in this hospital is very best in Asia. Our Big salute to Dr Palaniveluji for saving thousands lives & God bless him with good health & weltlh to serve poor people . Regds Mahesh .
