I did a big mistake without checking the review on GEM and when there are so well established Maruti vendors in the city before going to GEM. I went there on a friends suggestion who was very new to city.
Customer loyalty is created when core service elements meet expectations and quality service exceeds expectations, consistently
And I believe the core service element for GEM is to deliver the car on the confirmed date and GEM, kondapur failed to do it and there were no proper updates from their end on when it will be delivered. I had to call them every day to find out on when it will be delivered.
Never underestimate the power of the irate customer. And with this GEM lost 4 of my referrals who were interested to buy 2 Swift VXi, Ritz vxi & wagonR
I will never recommend GEM to any of my friends. GEM doesnt know on how important the car was to me when they promised to deliver on the said date. Most of the dealers in the city in order to close the deal, offer you free leather seats, interiors, music system, floor mats.
I didnt even had time to discuss all these things with them. The moment I paid my advance, I had to follow up with them on when it will be delivered. They were just thinking that they can take the booking amount and keep the customer on waiting list.
I went to the showroom almost everyday and they say that it is in transit and it should reach here tomorrow. The same answer for more than a WEEK AND they promised the car within 10 days after booking. In total I waited for more than 17 days. They just say sorry and say they are still waiting. They even failed to deliver the car on the auspicious time when it finally arrived.
I suggest GEM to anyone who has got hell lot of free time & patience to wait for the car may proceed.
