This review is related to the Chevrolet dealer - Singh Motors and Cycle Company situated at Wagholi, Pune. Now you may want to read my Chevy Beat review where I have actually praised the poduct. Actually as a car I do not have problems but the issue is with the Service - An importanct aspect about a vehicles care.
I had on many occasions used the services of Singh Motors, Two accident jobs and two services. I have provided them business to the tune of INR 50k and what I get in return is cheating. I had my first service done with Singh Motors(even though I bought it from Pashankar Auto) as it was near my home. On my this service I asked them to align and balance my wheels which is my biggest mistake. The smart guys at Singh Motors replaced my NEW tires with old worn out ones. I didn’t notice this immediately - My second mistake. On my second service I raised this to the service guy. Now he noted the issue that three tires were of different serial numbers(as in my service booklet). He spoke to the so called Customer Service manager Prassanna Shethe and he blunty rejected my issue as not their problem. He didn’t even feel it needed to have a word with me(at least say a few words of regret as to such a issue happened). Great Customer service.
I thought it would be good to speak to Chevy as they’re a global brand and emailed Mr. Ramesh Mishra the so called area customer service manager. He was prompt in his response and got in touch with Singh and followed up well to see what the issue was. Now in terms of resolution, he has chosen to concor with the service guy that the exchange cannot happen at the service center. So in simple I am lying, I am making a big mistake by servicing from an authorized dealers, the biggest I am a jack a$ to even recommend the car to others.
So guys if you plan to service your vehicle at Singh Motors the best way is to photograph your vehicle in and out and then verify before you take delivery. The most obvious targets are tires, battery, stepney, etc.
And a clear message from the Company - "We do not care" - It is YOUR mistake that you bought this car, it is YOUR mistake that you service from the authorized dealer, it is YOUR mistake that you don’t inspect your vehicle thoroughly before taking your vehicle.
I am not going to stop here, I am filing a case in consumer court at least. Will keep you guys updated
