It’s been a while since the last time I wrote a review on MouthShut. The reason is I had to take care of some important things in my life. I am glad that I am back....
I have been online for quite a long time (2001). I believe I have become the intermediate/advanced surfer because most of my time I spent surfing/searching online. Whenever I am not surfing the net, I frequent myself in MSN chat rooms. There is one particular day that changed my life forever... I was bored that day so I happen to search for ’’online reviews and get rewarded’’. The beginning search results was unsatisfying, but the second time was the best one because I have stumbled upon MouthShut. At first glance, I found it interesting. The part that I caught my eye was the ’’earn prizes’’ so I signed up right away.
Being a new member at this site, I basically wrote a short review because it’s been a while since I last had any writing lessons even though I had taken writing courses in college. It took me a while to get used to writing reviews. And I found the comments on my reviews helpful on developing my ideas. There are some things that I have liked and have learned from this site which I will mention below:
After writing several reviews on this site, I have honed my writing skills. It’s a great way to share ones knowledge to others and giving opinions on basically anything. There was one time that I ran out of topics to write about so what I did was I went to member/s profiles and read their reviews so I wrote a review basing on the topics that they wrote on.
The part that I liked about MouthShut is the rating system. When a member reads your review after that it’s either you get a Highly Recommended, Recommended, or Somewhat Recommended. I am lucky that I got most Highly Recommended and Recommended. I am working on getting all Highly Recommended even though it’s not easy unless your a star writer.... In addition, I have not listed anyone yet in my Trusted Circle I think it’s because I didn’t get the chance to get to know other members but the good part is I don’t have anyone in my Distrust List. I don’t think I’ll ever include anyone there.
In conclusion, there are opportunities just being a member at MouthShut. You get to improve your writing skills, have the chance to be a star writer, if you’ve achieved that level, and get to receive recognition for your work.
