I would like to share the recipe of home made starch
Corn Flour Starch : Take about 1 litre of water and put it to heat .Take about 2 tablespoonful of cornflour and mix it in a half cup of cold water .When the water gets lukewarm , add the cornstarch mixture to it , stirring continuously .When you will add the mixture the initial colur will be white .Keep on stirring till this boils and becomes transparent .This indicates that the starch is cooked .This will help to make mild starch .if u want stronger starch , u can increase the quantity of conrflour .This will take about 10-15 minutes to make .keep it to cool down and remember to cover the utensil with lid while cooling otherwise the thin film is formed at the top , which is a waste .Once cold u can use it to shirts, linens and whatever u like....happy starching :)
