Last year [2006] in the month of May we bought two LG split acs. One unit of 2t and One of 1.5t From day one they have given us nothing but trouble. They switch off on their own, they go completly dead and restart a couple of minutes later ! Their service agents are extremly prompt but are unable to fix the acs. Finally now they have stated that some electronic card has packed up and needs to come from Delhi. Thats the story for the last few days every day the card is coming the next day.
The distributors, resellers, service agents do not stock any critical spares. So if you have a breakdown better be prepared to have a non functional ac in peak summers, the motto of LG seems to be to sell and forget. Coustomers? who cqres for them anyway?
My advise: do not touch LG ACs with a bargepole, they are absolute junk. You would be better off with good old voltas or blue star!
