Samsung AC - Gas leakage problem

I purchased a AC from Samsung india on 28.08.2006 from better deals, janakpuri, new delhi. Their was no cooling from AC so I registered a complaint against on 26.04.2011. Engineer visited our home on 27.04.2011 to check Ac and found that due to gas leakage their was no cooling. I feel their is some kind of defect with these Ac’s that every season of summer their is a gas leakage.


I wish to tell that last year i.e. season also their was same issue about gas leakage in AC and we got it top and full by your authorised service center.


Are these service centers capable for giving us good service. they take the Ac’s at their centers for 3days just for gas filling.It looks really strange. I want also put a  complaint to the top authority on Samsung India. I do not want this AC to be going to service center every year for just a gas filling or topup. Every year we have to pay for this service of Rs.275 for engineer and gas filling for some Rs.1500/- which is not justified at all.


Its pathetic and really painful being a customer that MNC companies are exploiting indian consumers with bulk of their products and are not able to give good products. I want to share this that we have been using other brand AC’s like Tata and Carrier companies and their has been no such problem with them for the last 3-5years.


If this problem is not solved by Samsung at earliest I will definitely move to consumer court n later file a legal complaint regarding the same for the action.



I want to safeguard people from purchasing Samsung co. products which come with a bash in markets but are not able to provide after sales service of the same product. I hope u guys will learn from my bad experience n hope be alert in the future against Samsung co.
