I had made some pointers while purchasing A/C.
Capacity: Air conditioner comes with various tonage so you need to determine that. And it will be determine by the area of you room. So be carefull don’t buy your air conditioner without looking at your room space. If your room is big then you can buy the 1.5 ton A/C. Suppose , if your room is on the top floor and the sun rays are coming directly to the terrace and it makes your room so hot. So you will need 1.5 ton A/C to make the room temperature stable.
Star rating: whenever you buy A/C make sure you see the rating on the A/C this rating is known as star rating. Higher the rating lower the consumption of electricity. 3 stars ratings A/C are affordable but when you move to the 4 or 5 stars A/C then it will be quiet expensive beacuse here the cost rate becomes high. Also look at the ERR values , Higher the values lower the power consumptions.
Inverter A/C: Inverter A/C has its advantages and the price are little bit higher side. In terms of power consumption it consume less power compare to convantional A/C. Whenver the comprassor starts it make some fluctation or the room gets warm with convantiona A/C, while with invertor A/C its not like that it make the temperature stable and don’t make noise while the comprassor runs.
Insulation cost: look at the insulation cost also while purhasing the A/C because some of the company does not provide any accessories like piping etc. So look at the insulation cost also when you are making the buying decisions.
Before making any purchasing make sure that you select the good brand so that it may not cause any problem to your A/C in future. One more thing to keep in your mind is that you must be given a service support also so that whenever you need to service your A/C you can contact them easily. Always compare prices in various shops to know the correct price of the A/C with many benefits so that you might not get cheated.
