Bikes are really good with disc brakes, well generally said by most of the people
but disc brake doesn’t give full control over bikes as compared to drum brakes
for example. my experience with pulsar. disc brake is attached to front wheel of the bike and drum brakes are attached at rear wheel .while driving I suddenly applied brake to avoid an accident and i skid .
what happened was my front wheel stopped but my rear wheel was having momentum as it is attached with drum brakes . my bike slipped.
its bcoz the action made by both the brakes are not simultaneous even if u apply at the same time. as disc brakes are more quicker than drum brake
i am happy that I am having splender .both rear and front has drum brakes and I have full control over my bike.
the above incident I have seen with others also .so please use drum brakes more often and enjoy ur ride.
