Dear guys, my bike is honda cb unicorn 150, 2013 model since 7 years completed. 120, 000 km done now engine is fine and butter smooth, guys I payed only less than 10000/- rs only for maintenence, guys this not only for honda for all company bikes , they all have capability to run over 1 lakh km but because of our hard use, their eng life is reducing, here I can advice you to increase the life of your vehicle, if more than 20, 000 km completed your vehicle your first action should be please remove the bike from showroom service centre, that will help you to reduce the repair and you know technicians in service centres behaves hardly to our vehicle they give hard revs to our vehicle with out engine oil, so please remove from showroom until your vehicle have no prob, after that notice your eng km and written in your book, switch over to the eng oil to 125-150-semi synthetic, 150-250 synthetic oil, . you can change your oil by reading user manual of your bike, you must noted that 200 and above eng bike have liquid cool so check frequently that also fill according to lower side, that must be betwn min and max, becoz when turn turning time when liquid is in lower side radiator will not get sufficient liquid .after changing oil and liquid, change engine filter that easily you can change using manual, dont go workshop that charge 100rs for filter change, so after changing all these, km note, oil change every 1500km even engine oil have life span of 5000km but dont go upto that, next theory is that dont hand over your vehicle rash driving person they will kill your vehicle, nicely drive your vehicle. cruise your vehicle under redline of your rpm, engage all gear patiently according to your speed of vehicle, always feel engine sound, this techniques increase your eng life, lastly love your vehicle it willcertainly loves back .
