I started blogging last year and I must say that this is really an addictive hobby. The goal being to attract as much people as possible to your blogs. Now to achieve this you need first to determine what type of people you want to attract, whether its people interested in gossips, in tech reviews, in what is happening internationally or in your country.
I for example have a blog at https://javedmandary.blogspot.com . However my audience being Mauritians and given the fact that Mauritius is a small country I get a considerably less amount of hits than I would if I was talking about issues in a bigger country. So to compensate I need to write articles which would attract a wider audience for example tech news.
You need to write articles on a regular basis, everyday if possible . If you are planning to reuse information from another site just dont copy-paste, instead re-phrase the information you want to copy into your own wides whilst adding your comments and critics to the copied information . This makes the article more interesting.
Also do submit your blogs to blog directories, there are loads on the net most of them ask you only to add a referrer link on your site to them in exchange of adding you to their databases. There is also one particular site which I like which is called technorati(https://technorati.com) which is growing in popularity. These blog directories also facilitate your presence on the results page of many search engines such as Google and Yahoo.
Do also visit other people’s blog and comment on their entries. Make friends with them and they will visit your blogs.
Also do generate RSS feeds for your blogs, so as people who have an rss reader can monitor your blogs easily.
