The disadvantages of mobile phones are many but they have certain advantages as well:

2.Mobile phones have taken the place of a good companion .People remain occupied with their mobile phones and thus they get the opportunity to interact with their friends and family members. 3.The most important advantage of a mobile phone is that it serves as a savior during emergencies. During emergencies people use their mobile phones to get help from their family or friends. Thus it cannot be said that a mobile phone is only a luxurious gadget.
4.Nowadays people can connect to the internet with the help of their mobile devices. This has helped them in a great way. They get all the information they require on their mobile screens. The internet connection provided by the mobile companies also keeps the users up to date with the current affairs.
By taking into account all the advantages and disadvantages we can conclude that a mobile phone is neither a friend nor a foe. It depends on how the people use the device. It is modern gadget which is becoming popular day by day. Today it is an effective and popular means of communication.
