About cell phones - I do not have one - I’m not saying that I won’t get one at some time; I am sure it will prove very useful in the future.
But something that won’t change about me . there are certain times(regardless of television commercials) that I will not be using a cell phone;
1) When driving a car;
2) When riding a horse;
(you will never catch me making a telephone call from a horse . I have never seen such a ludicrous commercial as the one where somebody is using the phone on a horse)
3) When riding a bicycle;
4) At the beach;
5) Out in nature.
To me, there is a place for telephones and a time for telephones. When I am out in nature, is certainly not time for me - I take a pager along - my husband would call in the event of an emergency - anyone who lives in our building would call my husband if there was an emergency(he’s a super - and that’s an all told ball of wax - you’d love to hear about that one, I’ll bet).
That’s how I feel about cell phones - they are useful, but they have their place.
