Cellphones HAZARDOUS according to studies? Trash

There is a recent press release about studies done on the cellphone, saying the sound waves it emits causes harm to the brain cells of human. However, the study is not conclusive, short of saying that the experimentation lacks data. Similar studies come and go but and the bruited effect is forgotten simply because there was no such effect in the first place.

Read. In the 1960s there was a study that radiation emitted by the color TV can cause cancers of several kinds. In the same breadth, the computer monitor was suspected of causing optic cancer cells, leukemia and even brain cancer. Of late, the cellphone can cause ’’thumb’’ arthritis due to constant pressing when texting. There are some more like toys with poisonous materials or air bags that can decapitate.

Notice. Recent inventions that cause a stir in the public’s eye is prone to malicious accusations. There are some quarters whose main objective in life is to stir panic and instill fear, for whatever purpose we don’t know. If you remember the Y2K bug scare, much ado about nothing. I myself had been sending press releases to all the newspapers so as to combat the false publicity. Not one of my constructive article was published but any item that sow confusion was there in the papers. Can you imagine a video camera automatically popping out the cartridge when the year changes to 2001? That bullshit appeared in the column of a very respected newsman.

Back to the cellphone. This scare will linger and I bet my future MS points that other studies pointing to the evils of the cellphone will appear. My prediction: Cellphone can cause deafness.

Ignore the so-called studies and experiments unless they have the conclusive proof. By the way, why don’t they prove the risk of cigarette smoking?
