Recently I got cng(Tomesto) installed in my Alto 2008 on 48000 KM. I was surprised with the average of alto on tomesto in city. My Alto is giving the average of 250 km in 9.5 KG of gas in city, which cost me the running of Rs 1.20 per km. and the per kg km comes around the 26.5 in the city. I went to Agra recently by alto itself at the speed of 60 to 90 max. On highway it gave me the average of around 33 km. I got my cylinder filled from Faridabad 9.5 kg and it got empty on 320 km . I am very much satisfied after installing the cng kit in my Alto.
Few Tips to all CNg Users.
Start you car on petrol and do run it for 2 Km.
After 2km only get your car convert to cng, so the engine get proper oil supply.
Service your car engine on ever 7000km if cng is used regularly.
for service use servo oil as it is best for cng.
5 on highway try to make your run for 10 km both side on petrol.
- Always drive your vehicle in a speed range of 60- 90 KM to get the better mileage.
