I installed CNG sequential kit in my 2006 Optra from AutoGas India and in contradiction to other reviews I found everything is quite satisfactory.
After seeing many reviews of JMD Autogas I decided to get CNG kit from them. When I was looking for JMD Autogas I somehow reached to Autogas center of Mr Arun Badia which on the other side of same sector 17 Gurgaon. He said they are installing Sequential kits from Italy which are not Lovato now and the cost of kit would be 46k, I trusted him and paid 10k as advance, I asked him to pick my car after two days.
After coming back I thought of searching more through internet and looking over other reviews I realized that I reached at different place, both centers are Autogas but the one I was searching was JMD autogas not Autogas. Looking after online complaints I was scared and on very next day I myself went there. They don’t open on Sunday so it was closed. I asked few shopkeepers around and I felt comfortable by there feedback, they all appreciated his work.
I searched more for the ECU they are using(ESGI) and the kit(RAM) which sounds genuine from Italy. I went there on Monday morning and left my car for installation, next day evening around 5PM Mr Arun called me and asked to pickup the car. I was very pleased to see my car working excellent and there is almost negligible difference between CNG and petrol. They installed kit under the coolent box where only pressure meter is visible, it doesn’t look ugly, fitting and finish was good to.
After filling more GAS I found car was not at all converting to CNG from petrol, immediately I reached to shop, they were closing shop but opened again for my car check. They investigated for 30 minutes and nothing happened. Mr Arun asked me to come next day.
He said they don’t open shop on Dushera, it’s holiday for them but I can come. I reached there around 12, fault was on ECU, mechanic changed ECU and replaced with new one, it worked.
Arun took car for tuning and brought back in 30 minutes.
Everything working perfect so far. I would say except the cylinder space everything else is same. Performance is good in CNG.
I don’t deny, some people might have bad experience in past but somehow it was excellent experience for me.
