The Mumbai MS Meet : Paach paapis with kaapis !

Meetings are often PITA for most of the people including the ones that are part of the meeting as well the ones that just watch the meetings. At the end of this whole affair, everyone wants to give a KITA to one and all involved.

To avoid all these PITAs and subsequent KITAs, we present to you the

-

Absolute No Non-Sense Guide for Conducting Meetings.

  1. Break it down in points

Remember this point even before you even initiate the meeting. Break down all the tasks, members, agenda, tasks, minutes.absolutely anything and everything that is associated with your meeting. **You can even break the review on "General Advice on Conducting Meetings" in points. See how useful it becomes.read on.

*2. Be specific and to the point

*Send out the invitations, reminders to the members detailing whats the meet is about, when and where it is going to be conducted. Choose a location and timing thats convenient to most of the people. Comminicate it to all.

*So we decided to meet at Mocha in Nirmal Lifestyles, Mulund on Saturday, March 10.The word was spread via a simple email detailing the road-map from western suburbs. This map was useful for the flying animal to land at the right place along with the Flag bearer of Mouthshut.

  1. Plan what to do and entrust this task to the senior member

*While you arrange the meeting entrust the senior members with the planing function. Planning the agenda for the meeting is vital for every meeting. Seek their experience in making the meeting a success one.

*We entrusted the Agenda formulation work to the "the" reviewer of the mouthshut who has been managing her office, home and mouthshut so well. And she came up with an innovative way of telling the agenda . like the member brief on writing cool and breezy reviews.

  1. Do your homework and attend the meeting.

Carry no baggage about the past meetings, your experienced egos, your achievements and be there on time.

*So we met at time decided.everyone except me came before time. The elephant flew there moronically before the time making me wonder how elephants are treated as slower mortals.

And then we met!

What a group it was.one MS oldie like me, two new and vibrant waiting to be dawned "Stars", a reltively new and one flag bearer of MS!

  1. Participate with your inputs and listen to what everyone speaks. Be interactive.

*If you have done your homework, contribute your brownie points to the discussion.

*Once we settled At Mocha, there was no looking back. The discussion flowed with ease with plethora of topics about past, present and future of MS were discussed.

Sticking to the point of entrusting the tasks to senior/experienced members, we entrusted the job of placing an order to the cool_breeze and she did her job effectively as everyone was delighted to see what he/she got.

While me and sanjoy placed ourselves in diffeent directions to get the  best  of "eye-candy" at mocha.I happened to concentrate on the front side, sanjoy focussed on the backside at Mocha. **We were happy to enjoy the side-views, ladies were unaware about our side-watchings.

Innovative pics were snapped .

A six minute video was shot.

A "million dollar " T-shirt was signed .

Again the discussion was focussed on mouthshut.experiences at Mouthshut and members.more food was  followed.

  1. Finish it off in style .

We chatted for another half an hour as "one for the road"  talk.paid the bill in a single note exchange. Exchanged smiles, shook hands and dispersed to meet again.left home with a lovely feeling.

Now when I hear this song "Ye sham bhi kuch ajib thi, ye sham bhi ajib hai" . Im forced to think again about the beautiful evening spent with MSians . it was so different.

Makes me wonder.do all the SHAMS are AJEEB?
