There is nothing like good down to earth baked beans, and I know how to make them. When I go to party’s the host request me to make the beans. The last party was in sept they went so fast I have to make two batches the next time.

First you have to start out with #10 can of thrumans regular beans, cook up a lb of bacan, also in the fat from the bacan cook a whole onion, drain real well, also brown sugar and with this you need to know how much.
I never measured just did with the eye. There is another ingredient and it is not ketshup. The good advice I can give about cooking is to do on your own something real special that your always asked to make.
Also do it cause you enjoy doing it, it always comes out good. Keep trying something new till you are the best one at it.
