We recently got a distv connection VC no. 01516528972 at a very lucrative rate but alas the problems started then and there. as soon as got it the dishtv people took almost 4 days to activate the connection they were busy playing merry go round passing the issue from the retailer to the CC to the field staff and so on. Finally after a lot of complaining and frustration we got the connection active we were so happy that day it felt like we have just managed to beat one huge bureaucratic system like the one in our government offices
But now our misery has started again, after recharging the account, on 19th Nov we get to know that our connection is De-activated, it seems the customer care has no access to check records and figure out if the payment has been credited to the account or not.(to this point I would like to state I have a mail confirmation stating payment received from dishtv CC) more over the customer care gladly puts our call on hold in the pretext of escalating the call after finally calling the CC after 45 min they say now that the set top box is spoilt and will be replaced FOC. I ask where is service? where is the Quality Control?
Salil if you ever read this and still are at dishtv please rectify as your services are truly going to the dogs.
