I am deeply unsatisfied with the malacious act of Pertol Pumps which are functioning in Bangalore.
Well I dont hold any personal experience of getting cheated since I am very careful during the process of filling the petrol into my Bike. Maybe I have been cheated but still dont know assuming the fault of my Bike for giving less mileage at that time or probably blame a thief/suspect who has taken petrol from my tank.
The pople operating are trained by none other than so called Owner/Supervisor for that extra money to flow from our pockets, this is either for a personal benefit of the employee or for the filling station to make profit, but its the common man who is badly cheated and still going on.
I thought it is happeing only for those kind of people who hurry themselves in filling the petrol but no these people have tons of ways to fool people. The most common way in which they fool is you demand for eg to fill 3 ltr petrol then the set their meter to Zero and when it completes 3 liters the actual thing is has that 3 litres gone into my tank?
I have seen in a Local news recently where they had collected 3 liters of petrol in transparent containers(Maybe taken in the fuel tanks before) and each bunk has its own 3 liters volume, worst cases I have seen 3 liters petrol filled actaully had only 300ML in it, that looks terrible to me, few other containers were Getting 2.2 .2.1, 2.4, 2.6 etc, etc, but the whole point is people are cheated
How would a person know that he is cheated for these scenarios, does he needs to empty his Tank everytime he comes to the filling station and take out from tank once filled to check the correctness, thats foolish to me to do this every time in this busy schedule of life.
The other ways to be cheated are by diverting your mind, not resetting the meter, confuse you with calculations, also adulteration which I will not even talk about as the General frauds are itself sufficent proof to show the cunning act of these filling stations.
I truly dont know how to get out of this, there have been videos recorded on this to show their act Live but why these stations are not being actioned by Government, why are they still operating in the City.
To me it looks like its become so common that if they do so, then there will be handful no.of pumps left. You and I have to travel 30 to 40 KMs to fill the petrol and stand in a long Queue. I am sure not even at Bangalore its happening all over India.
All my readers your comments please, maybe I have a sign of hope to kill this act.
