Its advisable before boarding a train

I hereby would like to share my personal experience. In 2013, October I was going to Agra from Kolkata by Kolkata-Bikaner Pratap Express. The train started at 11-50 p.m.It was delayed.Quite late at night rather around dawn I got up realizing a commotion was going in my compartment.A person who declared him to be from Bangladesh was shouting in angst and agony that near Gaya his bag containing a lot of materials like passport, visa, ATM Card, Credit Card and money was stolen.

He was about to cry but physically he was very calm and quiet. His disappointment was not revolved in his body language.Police intervened and interrogated him.He narrated but in a very artificial manner. Then he said he had many other bags but only one bag was pilfered deep at night.Police came and talked to him.But they did not check his other bags at all.He got off at a place in Bihar.he was speaking Bengali in a Bangladeshi tone.

The question is really his bag was stolen or nothing happened. In order to befool the police patrolling in train or evading something in his so called "existing bags" he relented to that drama. Therefore please be careful while in train.

Secondly speak to fellow passengers but never accept any food or drinks in train.

Thirdly try to bargain with the price of food and mineral water.Because they just rob passengers by quoting abnormally high price.A normal rice, Curry and eggs is priced at Rs.110.Can you imagine?

Next is try to examine the bottles of mineral water while purchasing.Next I would say Do not defecate in the latrene while the train is standing on platform.Apart from this Use chain to tie up your bags even in AC first class too. Some acquaintance lost their hand bag containing Rs.10000 and keys of house, debit cards in Rajdhani Express while going from New Delhi to Puri.

Please try carrying a power bank along with you because till date in many trains mobile charging points are not plentiful.

Do not pay any tips to any workers unnecessarily.Even yes then pay something normal.I witnessed a lady paying Rs.500 to each attendants in Rajdhani express in a hidden manner so that nobody watched it.I was going from New Delhi to New Coochbehar in West Bengal.
