Unruly Behaviour with Senior Citizen lady

I am writing on behalf of my husband who has just narrated the whole episode to me over the phone.

I wish to bring to your notice the unruly and autocratic behavior of a railway employee who was at a ticketing counter at New Delhi Railway station on 9th May morning around 9.30am, to a senior citizen lady.

My aunt has passed away and my mother who is 72 years old had gone to pick up another aunt of mine who are also senior citizen from Chandigar by Chandigarh Shatabdi. The clerk refused to give platform ticket. My husband who was with my mother repeatedly requested him, but this clerk repeatedly behaved in the most uncalled for manner. even after explaining to him the tragedy at home, he refused to give the ticket, where by a notice which was displayed along the counter clearly mentioned that the same will be given to senior citizens.

My mother then told him, ’beta please de do, ek hi ticket de do’ he said ’nai deta jao joh karna hai kar lo!!!’. My husband asked him that the passengers who are coming are old and who will help them get the luggage, but he became adamant and did not budge. My husband asked him his name to which his reply was "phuljhari"!!! My husband has clicked his snap and told him that we will lodge a complaint. finally my husband and mother have taken a ticket of Sahibabad to enter the railway station!!

If this is the plight of senior citizen of our country, god help the other citizens! If something can be done it will help other senior citizens. If required the snap of the clerk can be provided. Can someone take it up with the railway authorities or can someone facilitate that this reaches the right people who can take action against such rude, autocratic employees.
