General Advice on Jewelry Shops

Hey im new to this and I have posted my reviews on the same topic elsewhere god knows which page and where.

Ok its my advise to public in general that its best to stick to branded jewellery showrooms like Bhimji Zaveri, Janpath.

No.no.dont think that im one of its sales brigade or one of the promoters.Im just a usual buyer of the gold from their shop and believe me I feel that im purchasing gold from them then im investing my gold at a safe place. Our age old goldsmiths try to cheat us at all ends, weight . design . quality etc.We as users can hardly identify the difference between the 18k or 22k or 24k.The goldsmiths can easily take us for a ride. But at least branded shops give us the bills which specifies the carrat and also give us the gold at the same price.Ok you might say they can also cheat us by mentioning the carrat less in their bill but the catch is that they also exchange their own gold on returable basis and that too at the current gold price at the same weight indicated in their bill and as per the carrat specified in the bill.

In todays world when gold is just an investment I think we all should invest wisely and with the right people just like we make investments with the right group of trusted companies.

Im totally against going to any small time shop owners and buying gold from them.Ok agreed that they take huge making charges but thats the price you have to pay in todays world for any honesty.Today honesty also has a price.

Please refrain from buying gold from any small timers and try going to obly branded showrooms.Even middle class people like me if, ur buying gold stick to the branded showrooms and invest your hard earned gold in safe hands
