A saving fund account can be opened with a minimum initial deposit of RS.500(except those specially mentioned under specific schemes of the bank) by properly introduced person by signing the banks standard ACC. Opening form in the presence of an authorized officer.
1.Interest in saving bank ACC. Is allowed on daily product basis with a minimum of RS.1/- in half a year.
2.Minimum amount that can be deposited in a saving account is RS.50 except under specified schemes no minimum deposit is stipulated.
3.Cheques drawn for a sum less than RS.50 a charge of RS.10 per cheque be levied.
4.Minimum quarterly average balance(QAB) of RS.500 for rural branches and RS.1000 for semi urban /urban/metropolitan branches should be maintained . if the minimum balance is not maintained in any such account in any quarter, incidental charges will be levied as applicable from time to time. Please maintain quarterly average balance to avoid levy of charges.
No withdrawals for less than RS.50 is allowed under unless the account is intended to be closed.
5.Withdrawal of cash from the account can be made through cheque or withdrawal slip.
6.Payments through withdrawal slip shall be permitted only to the account holder at the base branch, if the same is accompanied with the pass book.
7.Cheques and withdrawal slip should be drawn in such a way as to prevent subsequent additions and insertions in the account.
8.Please do not disclose your account details/internet banking, user ID and password/ ATM/Debit card/credit card/mobile 9.Banking/personal information to any person/source.
In saving account if there is no transaction during the last 12 months, the account would be classified as inactive and it may result into dishonour of cheques . for making the account active, please make a call at the base branch for completing the formalities.
