Vasudev’s Shopper’s Guide!
Hi people always wondered on a Monday when would friday come? And when finally Friday arrived didn’t know what to do? Either your only choice was watch the recently released bollywood flick spending 200 to 250 bucks in a multiplex, or hang out in a shopping mall at Malad in Hyper or Inorbit? or last but not the least order or Pizza and waste another 500 bucks which is all but no returns investment. More so when when March is coming closer - tax deduction from salary. Now heres a catch " You can still "live life King size" - I mean by saying no to tobacco & alcohol without feeling the pich on your wallet.
Heres how I did a makover for my Home & wardrobe in the last 15 days and at an very affordable VFM price.

So if you thought that the malls were of shiny Glass, brand name & the likes of, Shoppers stop, Hypercity, Spencers, Inorbit, D-mart, R-Mall, Atria, Cross Roads, Globus, Haiko, Infinity, KBN, Westside, etc then you gotto think the other way for a while.
With the heat being on the local small time private vendors having a tough time to prove their existence amidst the Big Malls who are giving away stuff as though it is almost free, with tag lines such as "Sabse sasta teen din", "Isse sata aur kaha". It is become affordable for the common man to enter the malls now, for once upon a time where he used to do Window shopping.
My shopping experience has been with one of the best malls in town along with the stretch of the link road between santcruz to bandra which is currently on sale for FLAT 50% to upto 50% with quality products & VFM.

And last but not the least if you would like to fill your wardrobes & closets with clothes, Link road between Santacruz to bandra is the place.
If approaching from South Bombay - Alight @ Bandra Link road - Stop name - Shoppers Stop and start walking along the road and have a look at all the shops " 50% SALE" is what you would find on every shop too hard to resist. From, NIKE, Reebok, Pepe, Levis, Mango, Loius Phillpe, Wrangler, etc, name & you will get branded to the roadside for upto 50% discounted rate.

Gabbana - Location - Junction of 15th road & Khar danda road, you might have to do a little bit of xtra walking as it is in the interiors of khar link road & hence it has never done business ever since it opened so the shop is being sold off at distress sale - pick anything for Rs, 450 to Rs550, formal wear, casual, etc.
Magnet - A new mall & hypermarket in the lane where you figure out KFC - that’s right Kentucky fried Chicken if you are hungry after all your shopping & all the walking.
To conclude: it’s Finally not the Bigger picture that matters it’s the VFM - value for money that matters the most - If you have the time & you are "Penny wise & not pound foolish" do give a visit to Big Bazaar, Planet M - Andheri, Granth, Magnet & Gabbana, & ofcourse Link road Khar & Bandra
