Ive been away for quite a long time. The reason is I had been busy with school, appointments, friends, and family. I admit I do miss writing reviews here, getting comments from members, and especially the ratings. I know that writing is in my blood and I cant change that. Ive started school but it didnt work out so I am free the whole summer. Moreover, Im happy to be back here writing reviews on Mouthshut. Okay back to the original topic, General advice on websites.
When I first started surfing the net, it really didnt occur to me which criteria would make a site good or better. I just visited sites for the main reason which is for fun. It took me quite a while to really figure out what I wanted. I thought to myself one night, How come I dont come to a point where I discover sites which I truly needed or would be good for me?. The answer would be its a matter of time and timing.
I would like to share some tips with you the ones I normally do when visiting a website. First, if you wanted to get more information about a site go to FAQs. Its the best thing that a website have. Its a list of questions and answers concerning how the website works. Second, if you do sign up and want to become a member look for privacy and security to make sure that your personal information are encrypted or not shared with others. Third, look for thewebsite tour. It shows you the features of the site and its what makes you decided to stick to the site or not. Fourth, if you are trying to sign up for courses and wouldnt want to spend any money, search for free courses online. There are many sites that offers both free courses and not or just plain free courses. Fifth, take advantage of the free stuff that some sites offer when you become a member.
Furthermore, if you have used all you have in surfing for stuff online or websites and run out of ideas, you can always use the book titles in bookstores to search online. Thats what I did and I had many results in my searches. Another idea would be reading a magazine-teens or adults. They sometimes have a page on free stuff and they posted on actively participating on their websites. They give links that you can go to. Also, there are courses that teaches you how to evaluate sites.
In conclusion, Im happy to share my thoughts and ideas about the advice on websites. To give others the advantage so that they can make good use of it. I do hope that it will make someones life much easier in finding quality websites.
