Trekking Tips for First-Time Trekker or Beginners

5)Take enough jackets and sweaters - It tends to get colder as you climb up, more so at night. Make sure you have appropriate warm cloths to protect yourself from the cold.


6) Have a portable charger and windcheater - These are essential most. You may will not get charging socket when you are trekking in the mountain. So, better to keep mobile switched off that time because it will save your mobile charge.


And windcheater will protect you from rainfall.


7) Avoid Trekking alone and Do research about place before going for Trekking - Important advice to all newbie trekkers never and ever try to go out alone. It will create a lots of problems for you. And before going do enough research on the place beforehand.


8) Don’t take Cotton Cloths - Avoid cotton clothing as it does not dry and not keep warm in the rains. Go for wool or fleece instead.


9) Miscellaneous - An army knife(pocket knife), flashlight with extra batteries, fire making tools- waterproof matches/lighter or keep a sandpaper handy and of course navigation tools. And don’t forget biodegradable toilet paper.
