Last week, I had a very poor experience with Genie Cabs. I had booked a taxi from Malleshwaram to Bangalore City Station at 5.30 am.
- Till half an hour before - they was no SMS with driver /cab details.
- I kept calling the call centre and they said that they will send the details in the next 5-7 minutes
There was no response. Finally at 5.35am- I left with my wife and 3 year old daughter with 2 suitcases and in the middle of the night, tried to find an auto. I had to walk some distance to find an auto and finally managed to find an auto.
All this while, there was no apology or call from Genie cabs.
Finally I get an SMS sending cab/driver details at 6 am- half an hour after the scheduled time - No idea when he will actually turn up.
- If I had waited, I would have definitely missed my train.
Dear friends- Just wanted to bring to your notice, my recent bad experience with Genie Cabs - Please be aware of this and make alternate plans, in case they don’t turn up.
