Genie Cabs

I am very much disappointed with the unprofessional service of Genie, right from the first interaction - booking: 26349247 made on  06 May’14- at 7:00PM for  07 May’14 for a pickup at 4:35am

Genie has failed to:

• provide the cab on time

  
  




• provide proactive and authentic info

  
  




• funny thing is that they have messaged me saying that cab would arrive at the exact time and also provided the cab number and the driver’s contact number.

  
  

When I called the cab driver at 4:30 AM after 5, 6 attempts the cab driver was unable to answer my call and told me that he had asked for the Genie cabs to cancel the trip and asked me talk to the customer support. When I called the customer support, he was not aware of the cancellation and asked me to hold the call and spoke to the cab driver and told sorry that trip had cancelled. When I asked to arrange another cab service, he told it is not possible since no cabs are there around my area, it would take another 30 mins to arrange for another cab, that too he did not guarantee arranging another cab. it was a very bad day for me to get another cab or a auto rickshaw at that early hour. When I told the customer support later about this he told sorry. No professional behavior from either the Genie customer support or from the cab driver.

I would advice all not to book Meru cabs or Genie cabs.
