Let's Rock!

Perhaps the ideal Aerosmith cover would be the udders of a ’over due to be milked’ cow, and in all honesty, I can’t see the connection of the cover to this rather superb album. Just when we all had thought that the most ugliest rock band ever to wear Spandex in front of a live audience had died forever, they came back to deafen us yet again with this 1993 album. A mark in rock history when such a band from the depths of the early seventies could still pull it off in front of grunged up ninties audiences.

The intro to this screaming album is not out of character for the band. Full of meaning (if you are a following dude of the group) and all the charm of a strangled cat, this band will have you eating out of their tatooed hands by the end of the set. Complete with dire ballad who is in desperate need of being fast fowarded, this album will sit in amongst your CD collection whislt it sneers at everything else on the same shelf. Your copy of Paul Simon’s ’Graceland’ will melt in fear of this fast, furiously paced album. Angry blues with majorly thrashed guitars engulf this album with delightful entertaiment. Aerosmith had confirmed to us that they could still rock along side the hardened likes of iron Maiden. Yet there is still something appealling about Steve Tyler and his crew. They still have a place in our hearts, so long as they don’t churn out any more film songtracks.....
