Well, its me imhonest(srk) back again wririn a review after a loooooooooooong time thinkin wot to write about next . but im bac yet again after so many months writin abt. GHAJINI movie after watching the movie n undergoin the impact it has had on me.
to begin with i’ll say that I believe aamir khan is the best actor ever in bollywood. he plays an anterrograde amnesia patient in this movie. n who could who have played the role better, maybe nobody else.
the movie is supposedly a remake of a tamil movie that did wonders in the south. infact some of my own relatives who watched the regional original told me that this movie was genuine piece of masterwork be it the direction, be it the cinematography, be it the direction.
I didn’t watch the original but felt I would go for the remake as it boasted my favorite star-aamir.before watchin the movie I was not very hopeful.but then I made up my mind after many NOs to finally say a YES to watch the movie.i believe that the overwhelming response it got is all just and no hype.n I believe this movie is a lesson to learn for everybody in bollywood.if its the actors I think they gotta learn aamir’s acting skills and try doing something that deviates from their usual bit . its another time that the music maestro AR Rahman has proved he has no competent as he uncovers another bit of his excellent soundtracks which go very well with the movies theme making it very clear that the cinematography is good.
AR Rahman as always has given his best background scores that make the movie all the more exciting to watch on the big screen.He’s I guess one of His gifts to the film industry.
The movie may not have a very different story or script but its the aamir khan factor that’s turned everythin goin in movie’s favour.its bagged 225cr. already n I wouldn’t be surprised if it touches the 300cr mark.the one thing not very pleasant to the eyes in the 3nhalf hour outdoor is the scene which shows the murder of heroine. of course the scene is the backbone of the story but this certainly is not somethin one would put his money n time on.
but I guess everythin else abt. the movie is right in place there.everthing done perfectly as we have have in any other aamir starrer.this movie has also been the platform for jiah khan to prove herself n she’s done a good work too.as for asin, who is a debutant I think she is also someone to look upto in this movie.
nothin more to comment on. I guess I hav expressed my views on this movie satisfactorily n fairly. if u r confused or unsure abt watchin this movie its definitely 2 thumbs up from me.
