Lacklustre 1st half..makes way for a better 2nd

After TZP, it was Aamirs long hyped Ghajini, which is an overall good film, yet having a unimpressive 1st half with bits and pieces of fun and giggling pieces. Some spoofs on Indian commercials and parody by asking a foreigner to pronounce "Chinchpokhli ...."

The latter half is full of heart-stopping action, welcome Aamir the New Bollywood Action Superstar, and the action sequences speak a lot about.

Asin was good in her innocent, soft self. Aamir was as usual kool in his romance and a hulk in his action. Well the Man dint look like a graduate to join his fathers firm, straight from schoolJiah Khan was just as dull as could be. The story begins with the understanding of Amnesia in a medical college with Jiah as a medical student who wants to undertake the interesting case of Sanjay Singhania(Aamir).

Amir enters with a big bang action sequence, who is then trapped by a Inspector who dies quite uncharacteristically, but yet so normal way most chases do end up in a road accident, just so common to our bollywood movies.

The first half is about Asin - a struggling model who fakes an affair with AirVoice Chaiman (Aamir) to gain popularity and stardom. Aamir starts with a distaste for her but then the innocence, simplicity and love makes him a ardent lover, who waits to get acknowledgement for his love before actually revealing his identity to her. All the story in the 1st half is 2005 diary excerpts played in a flashback mode.

The second half is all about revenge and trying to find out the real Ghajini and is a mix of diary excerpts and Jiah Khan’s unsatiable thirst to resolve the mystery about Sanjay and Asin’s unfinished love affair.

The second half is gripping and will keep you well glued into your couch with some brilliant performances by Aamir, specially the action sequences.

Cinematography for the Guzarish and Behka songs are undoubtedly awesome. The other tracks were not much to talk about. But the lyrics for "Kaise Mujhe" will also touch you

And characteristically there was social messages that were brought up with the storyline which did not look out of place as well.

Maybe not all expectations were fulfilled as compared to the hype which the movie had created. But you know the standards of Indian expectations specially like we want sachin score a ton each innings and srk and aamir give not just blockbusters but gripping storyline along with a amazing impressive movie ...

Overall good movie and I bet you would enjoy watching it over rather than reading this somewhat boring review of mine.
