Absurd comedy. Unbearable for a Ghalib fan.

Well, if you are a Ghalib fan, this play is not for you. A cheap comedy that very ruthlessly belittles the infinite spirit of this great poet and a genius. This play is more about Delhi than about Ghalib. Strange it is that the writer ignored the most important fact that Ghalib was never a fame-hungry man.

In this play, you see him desperately indulging into every imaginable stupidity to let people know he is Mirza Ghalib. I wish Sayeed Alam Sahab understands that he’s doing great wrong to the man and his lovers. Please don’t waste your time and money on this disgusting drama.

Sigh !
