Ghayal once again, is a sequal to the 1990 superhit film Ghayal and takes off from where it last ended. It revolves completely around Sunny Deol, who is not only the lead hero, but he has also directed, and produced the film.
The movie uses the same old formula of Ghayal where good guy fights the might of corrupt and evil, only this time with a lot less frenzy. Many things go wrong in the movie and at one point you are so baffled that you stop caring about all of it making any sense to you. There is no shadow of doubt that this film is tailor-made for the die hard Sunny Deol fans( and there are quite a many, even today) who would love it in every which way.
The passion and action of Ghayal is outright missing. There are nobalwant singh ke kutte kind of dialogues that remain with you long after the movie has ended. The music by Shankar, Ehsan, Loy makes no impact. Cinematography is okay. Editing could have been better. All in all, watch it only for Sunny Deol( I know thats the reason I did!) .: -)
