I have used DE razors as well as cartridge razors including fusion 5. I must say that in cartridge razors, this is the best razor Gillette ever made. It lasts upto 7 shaves and doesn’t clog while shaving due to single blade mechanism. In my experience, marketing of multi blade razors are a sham as they don’t make any difference to quality of shave. Quality of shave largely depends on the way one shaves and the preparation which goes on before the shave. I usually do 2 passes when using a cartridge razor, one with the grain and next across the grain from ear to nose direction.
