Best a man can get

Ahishek Bachchan might have made facial hair look hot & sexy in almost all ads that he features in. But there are some men, like me, who need to be clean shaven, else the supposed hot facial hair, tends to make me look like a ravaged ship wrecked patient.

I always longed for a smooth, non irritating, un-burning shave. I tried various shaving creams, with mint, without mint, with extra lather, with extra 25% cream and several gels too. None offered me the cool, smooth shave that I longed for.

Once my bespectacled eyes fell on Gillette Series shave gel and the shimmering red can had my fingers encircled around it, crying for me to try it out. It was the one with Aloe and for sensitive skin. The 200ml red can cost me Rs. 225. Unlike other gels that I’d used, this one needn’t be applied on the shaving brush to work up lather. Instead I had to take a bit of the blue coloured gel on my hand and spread it across my wet facial area to work up a quick lather. I could immediately feel the coolness spread because of the Aloe.

As soon as the razor moved, I knew that I was getting a better shave. I did observe that the beard was cut finer and the skin did not burn too. Finally *I got the cool, smooth shave that I longed for so long. Why, even when I did move the razor in the other direction the skin never felt better and at the end of the shave my smooth skin glistened. The aloe gave me a cool touch too and I can definitely say that *it’s the best that a man can get.

Rs. 225 for a 200ml can, might sound like a bomb, but when compared to the best shave that I got, I don’t think I’ll ever switch back to the shaving creams of yesteryears.
